ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

MAY 20, 2004

7:00 P.M.     Called meeting to order.  Present :  Ellen Abelson, Richard

                     Gorden, Paula Keefe and Mark Mazur.

1. The Board unanimously elected Paula Keefe Chairman

of the Board of Assessors for the coming year.

2. The Board approved the minutes to our 4/29/04 meeting.

3. The Board took the following actions on  fiscal year

2004 applications for exemption for the owners of the

following parcels:

Parcel # 128003000     clause 41A     granted

Parcel # 062002000     clause 41A      denied

Parcel # 126016404     clause 41A      denied

4. The Board approved plans to add GIS interface software

to our Vision Appraisal software.  The contract for the software is being finalized.

5. The Board approved 2004 goals to be used in the

performance evaluation of the Administrative Assessor.

     6.                 The Board discussed a request by the owner of parcel #

                          065004000 for a meeting with them to discuss his pending

                          ATB case.  The Board decided not to schedule a meeting

                          with him at this time.  

7.                The Board decided to not allow the public into the inner part

of our office without a request by the staff.  A sign stating that the public is not allowed beyond that point will be posted  at the entrance to our office.

8.                The Board decided to hold their next Board meetings on

                     June 3^rd and June 17^th.

9.                 The Board reviewed the fiscal year 2005 budget figures

                      that were approved at Town Meeting
