ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES
JUNE 17, 2004
7:00 P.M. Called meeting to order. Present: Paula Keefe, Ellen Abelson, Richard Gorden and Mark Mazur
1. The Board approved the minutes to our 6/3/04 meeting
2. The Board was told that Mr. R. Lapuck had canceled his scheduled meeting with them tonight. Mr. Lapuck asked to have his meeting re-scheduled for a future meeting. The Board decided to offer to re-schedule the meeting for 7:30 P.M. at our next board meeting on Thursday, July 8, 2004.
3. The Board discussed options for handling FY2004 commercial and industrial Appellate Tax Board (ATB) cases. The Board decided to hire Patriot Properties to review each of our FY2004 commercial and industrial ATB cases. After reviewing the cases Patriot Properties will help us to either settle the cases or defend them in court.
4. The Board discussed our end of the year budget situation and items that will probably need to be encumbered.
5. The Board decided to hold their next meeting on July 8th.
6. The Board read an email from the Board of Selectmen inviting people to come up with ideas for raising revenues for the Town.
