Executive Session Minutes – March 6, 2006

Absent: Kenneth Goldberg

1. Executive Session to discuss Town Clerk, Marlene Chused’s salary.

2. There was discussion on the Town Clerk’s salary.

3. A MOTION was made by Jonathan Hitter and SECONDED by Gloria Rose to approve the Town Clerk’s salary as presented to us.

4. VOTED: 5-5-0. For: Alpert, Goodman, Hitter, Miller, Rose. Against: Anderson, Feldman, Fitzgerald, Lessard, Sydney.

5. A MOTION was made by Gregory Sydney and SECONDED by Ira Miller to increase Town Clerk’s salary by 4%.

6. VOTED: 5-5-0. For: Anderson, Feldman, Fitzgerald, Lessard, Sydney. Against: Alpert, Goodman, Hitter, Miller, Rose.

7. A MOTION was made by Ira Miller to increase the Town Clerk’s salary by 4.5%.

8. No action was taken on the motion.

9. There was more discussion on the salary.

10. A MOTION was made by Brian Fitzgerald and SECONDED by Maria Anderson to increase the Town Clerk’s salary by 4%.

11. VOTED: 5-5-0. For: Anderson, Feldman, Fitzgerald, Lessard, Sydney. Against: Alpert, Goodman, Hitter, Miller, Rose.

12. A MOTION was made by Jonathan Hitter and SECONDED by Joel Alpert to increase the Town Clerk’s salary by 5%.

13. VOTED: 6-3-1. For: Alpert, Goodman, Hitter, Miller, Rose, Sydney. Against: Feldman, Fitzgerald, Lessard. Abstain: Anderson.

14. It was MOVED and SECONDED to adjourn.

15. VOTED: 10-0-0.

16. The Executive Session was adjourned at 11:05 P.M.
