Executive Session Minutes – April 4, 2007

Town Hall, Lower Level Hearing Room – 8:00 P.M.

Members Present:  Joel Alpert, Maria Anderson, Charles Goodman, Ira Miller, Laura

                               Nelson, Edward Philips, Gregory Sydney (Hamilton)

                Absent:   Brian Fitzgerald, Jonathan Hitter, Joel Lessard, Gloria Rose

1. Ira Miller stated that our one salary we get to authorize and vote on is Town Clerk.

2. There was discussion on salaries of heads of departments.

3. There was much discussion on the Town Clerk’s position and the excellent job she is doing.

4. It was MOVED and SECONDED to increase the Town Clerk’s salary by 3%.

5. VOTED:  7-0-0.

6. There was some discussion on the potential override, collective bargaining, and health insurance.

7. It was MOVED and SECONDED to adjourn Executive Session and resume regular session.

8. VOTED:  7-0-0.

9. Adjourned Executive Session at 9:05 p.m. and resumed regular session.
