September 26, 2005
A meeting of the Sharon Board of Health was called to order at 7:40 P.M., with the following members in attendance: Stanley Rosen (not yet a voting member),Suzi Peck, and Anne Bingham.
Hearing on proposed articles for Special Town Meeting
Stan Rosen opened a BOH hearing on proposed revisions to the MUOD and CSD. Wayne Bradley, member of the Planning Board, was present. Suzi Peck presented the Board’s rationale for these amendments including: to preserve and protect the environment; to make explicit which environmental issues should be addressed; and to clarify that anyone presenting a project needs to come before Board of Health as well as Planning Board. Wayne Bradley stated that, in his opinion, the CSD should be comprehensively rewritten to make it as effective as possible – but not by rewriting one piece at a time. Another hearing on these articles is scheduled by the Planning Board for October 5th.
No votes were taken.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 P.M.
