Kevin Sweet
Vice-President....Public Protection Specialists, LLC., established in September 2007; formerly Assistant Executive Director for the City of Taunton Board of Health.  Reviewed his background and current responsibilities.  He would be the dedicated person and would  have two other members of his company as support personnel. Would have all day Friday available plus additional emergency work...or could be more flexible.  Currently pursuing Master’s degree in Emergency Management. If chosen, this would be the first community for which PPS would provide sanitarian-type services. In response to questioning: a major portion of role is education, particularly when it comes to the food industry; experience with review of plans for new establishments. Also has been accepted to sit for CHO and RS exams...plans to do so  in the near future.
Suzi Peck left at this point to attend another meeting.

Bill Iannucci
Formerly Director of Health in Canton MA.  Reviewed history of cooperation with Sharon, as well as his background and experience. Currently does consulting and works a few hours per week in Wrentham.
Response to questions: taught Food Sanitation at R.I. School of Design.  In Wrentham  has provided food service certification. Combination of education and enforcement. Responded to questions about camps and nail salons, etc. Emphasized common sense approach.

Marc MacFarland
Currently Sanitarian (32 hours/week) for Town of Foxboro (for 4 years). Has worked at Residence Inn for past 7 years overseeing food service program and swimming pool. Certified Food Operator; Certified Pool Operator; Soil Evaluator. She stated that education is part of every inspection. Re camps: Stated Foxboro requires all paperwork be in to BOH by 30 days prior to opening.  Would be available Friday afternoons, Monday and Thursday evenings, and weekends. Any other time could be worked out with George Young, Director..Foxboro BOH.

Kevin Duquette
Has worked for Taunton Board of Health for 3 years....works 32 hours/week. But can be flexible. Would be available before 9 AM M-F; after 5 every workday; Saturday or Sunday. Also has l.5 hour lunchbreak. Could probably make a black of time available, depending on his supervisor. Discussed working relationship with other departments in Taunton and discussed variety of experiences in Taunton. Oversees landfill in Taunton.  Discussed  hazardous waste regulation developed in Taunton. Hazardous materials, landfill, septic design review supercede food inspections in his position . Taunton has a food inspector whose sole responsibility is food establishment review.
