Chair Report

Mr. Davis called the meeting to order at 7:55 PM.

Discussion

Mr. Davis said that Chair Friedman had redrafted the CPC Project Submission Form.

Mr. Gladstone commented that he had a conversation with a gentlemen interested in the Sacred Heart property to build a 60 bed Alzheimer assisted living facility. Mr. Gladstone told him it could not be built on the property because of the residential restrictions.

The Committee reviewed the updated draft prepared by Chair Friedman.  All agreed that final numbers for demolition and field creation were needed. The Committee also discussed using the space for a new police or fire station or town hall. 

Mr. Keenan questioned the need for fields and said he would contact Brett MacGowan of the Community Center.

All agreed the next steps include:

1. Obtaining costs for the Sacred Heart building demolition

2. Obtaining costs to build fields/ lights/maintenance

3. Speak with Selectmen

4. Discuss Committee Preservation Committee

Minutes

Mr. Gladstone moved to approve the minutes of 4/10/12 and Mr. Straus seconded the motion.  The Committee voted 4-0-0 in favor.

Adjournment

Mr. Keenan moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:15 PM and Mr. Davis seconded the motion. The Committee voted 4-0-0 in favor.
