                           Meeting Minutes

                  May 28, 2013

Members Present:  Chair Gordon Gladstone, Vice Chair Deb Benjamin, Bill Croteau, Rick Rice, Steve Smith, Rich Slater, Roger Thibault, Matthew Baldassari and Eric Hooper

Members Not Present:   Fred Clay, Colleen Tuck and Tony Branca

Others Not Present:  Bob White   

The meeting of the Sharon Standing Building Committee was called to order by Chair Gordon Gladstone at 6:30 p.m. in the Conference Room at the Community Center. 

1.         6:30 p.m. - Administration

Approval of Minutes

MOTION:  To approve the Regular Session minutes of the Sharon Standing Building Committee meeting of April 30, 2013 (Croteau/Smith) – unanimous - Abstentions: Benjamin, Rice and Thibault

MOTION:  To approve the Regular Session minutes of the Sharon Standing Building Committee meeting of May 6, 2013 (Croteau/Thibault) – unanimous - Abstentions: Benjamin, Rice and Smith

Future Meetings:  June 11 and 25, 2013

2.         6:35 p.m. - Sharon Middle School Project Updates

· Punch list Status – Completed

· Ken Wertz to sign off on punch list upon his satisfaction

· Possible June MSBA Board meeting

3.         6:45 p.m. - DPW Steel Building – Eric Hooper

            Eric Hooper met with KBA and DPI and the following was discussed:

· Do not have to heat whole building

· Do not have to bring building insulation up to energy code

· Goal to getting steel building completed by end of year

· KBA in process of working on bid package

· Bid packages to be reviewed electronically by SSBC

The meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m. (Croteau/Smith) – unanimous
