Meeting of April 28, 2009

In Attendance: Mike Bossin, Gary Bluestein, Marc Bluestein, Glenn Allen, Jay Bronstein, Jerry Saphire, Barbara Kramer,  Lauren Hyman, Jane Desberg, Diane Pankow,

1:   7:35     Meeting called to order by Chairman Michael Bossin.

2:   7:36     Minutes of April 14, 2009 —

Motion made by Jay Bronstein and seconded by Marc Bluestein to approve the minutes of April 14, 2009. Diane Pankow abstained All other present Committee members voted in favor.

3.   7:37     Correspondence —

Gary Bluestein informed the Committee of the bids for siding for the dining hall

4.   7:48     Horizon Administration building RFP —

                  The deliberation of the RFP’s started with a compiling of the scores and then the committee went person by person around the table and discussed how they scored the submitted RFP’s by Jakes Clubhouse and   Loubille' Le Montessori Du Village (Arc-En-Ceil). These comments can be viewed on the filed RFP evaluation sheets.    The scoring was compiled with Montessori receiving a score of  359 to Jakes Clubhouse score of 302.

                  A motion was made:

Move to recommend Loubille' Le Montessori Du Village 8 Nancy Rd Natick Ma 01760 to the Selectmen to enter into lease negotiations subject to the following considerations:

1: Lease amount includes an appropriate escalation clause
2: Environmentally sensitive on site parking and traffic management plan
3: Include a design review and approval process of any alterations to the building       and      site.
4: Further develop a community involvement plan

                      Motion made by Marc Bluestein, second Jay Bronstein
passed unanimous

                   Another motion was made:

Move that the Committee be represented in the design review process.

                   Motion made by Jane Desberg with a second by Lauren Hyman passed unanimous

5. 9:00 Handed out the submitted RFP for the Camp Property, reminded all that they must be submitted by 7:45 May 12, 2009 to be included in the count.
